Umbilicus Italiae

In the historic center, just 200 meters from the Piazza San Rufo there is a marble monument, that is a symbol of what precisely is traditionally considered the geographical center of Italy. In the square, is visible in its midst to map out the city walls, and there is the Church of St. Rufo, simple on the outside, but its sumptuous interior, where there is a seventeenth-century painting depicting The Guardian Angel assigned to John A. Galli said the Swordsman.
