Archaeological sites

In place Caporio an archaeological complex is preserved among the most impressive of the area, known as the Baths of Vespasian ot Bath of Cotilia. Castel Sant'Angelo is placed instead, according to the literary tradition, the ancient center of Cutilisci, based on the ancient route from Rieti, about 9 miles away, known in the imperial age  as Aquae Cutiliae for the therapeutic properties of the sources and for establishments thermal. In the town of Cottanello, there is an interesting example of the type represented by a rustic villa settlement.
